State firm Roszarubezhneft gets 80% in Venezuela oil field operator

Oil Consortium, the operator of the Junin-6 block in Venezuela, a former joint venture between Gazprom Neft and Rosneft, according to the documents seen by PRIME on Thursday.

On Wednesday, National Oil Consortium passed to RN-Okhrana-Ryazan, a private security company of Roszarubezhneft.  Capital of the security company was raised to 322.752 billion rubles at the end of April from 250,000 rubles.

On March 28, Rosneft ceased operations in Venezuela and sold all assets in the country to a Russian state-owned company to receive 9.6% of own shares as a result of the deal.
